I am having trouble getting our Turney family straight. Since Mary Leota's maiden name was "Ford", I cannot help but think that Leroy is the son of John Oliver Sr. and Mary Leota Turney. Yet in the 1930 census, I find J. O. Turney married to Leota with three children, none of whom is named Leroy Ford.
