He appeared on the census of 3 April 1940 at S.D.5; E.D.255-233; Sheet 2 A, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas; is age 48, married to Tippye, and he is working as a night watchman/carpenter for a realty company. Daughters, Helen and Susan, are with them. This census is dated the same day that Claud died.
