     Alonzo Seth Spears was a deputy sheriff at one time in Arkansas, probably Searcy County. He traveled to Blackburn in Pawnee County in a covered wagon from Stigler, Oklahoma. It took nine days to make the trip starting November 13, 1924 and ending November 22, 1924. He appeared on the census of 4 June 1900 at S.D.3; E.D.94; Sheet 3A (104), New Hope Township, Newton County, Arkansas; is age 22, living with Alice and son Charles. Alice has had two children, one living. Francis Marion is living with them.
